For this project, we were assigned to pick a current concept that the world has been focusing on, and create a complete map of that trend, including: how it started, how it's progressing, and any future trends that may happen within this concept. We then designed 5 clothing items to represent that trend. In order to figure out current color trends, I looked at WGSN's predictions and utilized color theory to create a collection of different color combinations. I then sent out the combinations in a Google form to a wide demographic of women and asked them to choose which color combination made them feel the most confident and happy. For designers, I chose those who are traditionally deemed as more feminine to see their take on where femininity is headed.
